Train the Trainer
Hi Glen,
I have extensive experience in this field.
I would suggest that in your search for a programme, careful consideration should be given to your particular industry. There are many courses available that will give an insight into training, but are generally non-industry specific. I would also suggest using a ‘shadow’ scenario is a good way forward.

I recently attended a John Matchette train the trainer course & thought it was brilliant for all catagories of training. Check out their website – not cheap but definatly worth the money.

While we run train the trainer courses ourselves, we keep our own skills up-to-date and bring in new ideas by working with David, and I can wholeheartedly recommend his approach!

I recommend you get in touch with Grace Curtin (Gracecurtin@aol.com, 07976 204 234) as she has the most comprehensive TTT course for IT people that I have ever seen and she deliveres it in an innovative way making use of accelerated learning techniques that she also teaches during the course. She ran a long-standing TTT programme for Cap Gemini and the results were outstanding. Please say hi to her for me if you call her.
