I have been delivering very specific financial training for over ten years now, on a self-employed then one-person-company basis. I enjoy my work, but feel the need to develop my own training skills and move my training on to the next level.
For instance, I already include games and interactive sessions in my training, but have to come up with all these ideas myself, as I work alone. And I rely heavily on PowerPoint, as my subject is content-heavy (including some legislation).
So I am looking for an inspirational "train the trainer" or "develop and enthuse the jaded trainer" programme. It doesn't need to lead to a qualification or diploma, as there's only me to please - and I probably won't fire myself any time soon.
All of the "train the trainer" workshops I have tracked down seem to be for beginners. Is there anything out there that will build on my solid experience and reinvigorate my enthusiasm for training? Many thanks for any suggestions.

Fenman Workshops
You could try the Fenman Workshops, I find these particularly useful:

What about Mentoring?
Hi Susan
I’m sure you’ll get lots of individual tips etc for your courses from Training Zone members and there may be courses you can go to.
As an additional thought, have you considered mentoring as a means to generate some inspiration? It could mean you get some really valuable feedback and ideas, as well as some personal support during a period when you are looking for development.
Perhaps you know of a suitable mentor or would like to be put in touch with someone? If you would like to explore this idea further, you can contact me on annie@breathingspacetherapies.co.uk
Need re-energising?
Many trainers need to be re-energised and re-inspired at times – we run a course called “Energising the ELF” – it is aimed at experienced trainers.
ELF (Excellent Learning Facilitation) offers a programme of training for the development of trainers.
If you would like further information, please do not hesitate to e-mail or contact me on 01759 304321 – look forward to hearing from you Susan.
