Where can I find guidelines or a document that a training provider can use to submit a tender?

Interesting question. I have asked this question to Business Link on a couple of occassions, perhaps if a few more people did, they may provide some training. In the meantime there is a company I have found on the net that offer training. Find them at http://www.training4tenders.co.uk

I did obtain a booklet from Business Link last year called “tendering for government contracts: a guide for small business” I don’t know if it is still available, the number was URN 01/1398

This is one of my specialist areas.

I wrote a training course several years ago about generic bidding requirements, and have more recently offered it to an organisation who claimed interest, but nothing as moved because of supposed lack of demand. There is an indication in the responses that there could be a demand.

Your question, however, seems to relate to a more specific need.

It is always worth customising a tender to the specific need of the funding body. More often than not, they will issue their requirements in the form of a call for proposals or tender brief, and it is simply a matter of feeding back to the body in the form of a tender that you can provide what they want. Most people fail to succeed in winning tenders because they try to be too complex, and hide the facts amongst irrelevant information.

Please drop me an e-mail with your specific requirements, and I will see what I can do to help you.
