My organisation would like its members to be more committed to planned and structured learning. To enhance the quality and standard of its members LLL requirements, the current proposal are:

All members would be required to register and identify their learning objectives in advance;
Members should determine the most appropriate way these objectives can be met;
A timeframe should be set for evaluation and future planning of personal development

I am currently preparing a paper to put to our Education Committee but need to know what current thinking is and who are the "gurus"
