Do you have any experience of using training as a tool for facilitating location (office) change in your organisation? Would you be happy to let me know about your experiences and/ or send a questionnaire for you and your colleagues to complete? All responses would remain confidential and subject to the university rules on confidentiality.
I believe that training can help staff members adjust to new locations and possibly new ways of working and I am keen to hear of your experiences before, during and after a move.

3 location change examples
Hi Rachel
Feel free to call me – 020 7526 5166 or email me annah.ross@acxiom.com
I used training for three location and culture changes which came about as a result of several acquisitions. In hindsight we should be used it much more – but I’ve got some ‘lessons learnt’ that I can share with you.

Who moved my cheese
Hi – an excellent tool is the book “Who Moved My Cheese?” by Dr Spencer Johnson (ISBN 0 091 81697 1)which is also available in video format. It is a great way to help people think about how they deal with change and to embrace it. It also used to be available I believe in video format. There are comments on any answer from June 04 regarding this too just type “who moved my cheese” in the search field.
