MBTI training

default-16x9

I am thinking of undergoing training in MTBI which I see as another assessment model in my training/coaching toolkit. However, I also acknowledge that my weakness is a thirst for new skills and knowledge - if I had an endless supply of money and time I would be the eternal student! So my question to the group is, is there still a good market for MBTI assessment within organisations, large and small. I am particularly passionate about sales training and would love to hear about whether trainers are using this tool within this particular environment.
Many thanks in advance.

  1. Yes…
We use it extensively for both team development and cross team working. I believe it’s still the most widely used assessment tool.

  2. MBTI is in demand

MBTI is perhaps the most well-known, most used and most respected of all the psychometric instruments. In the last couple of years I have seen interest grow in MBTI. I cannot comment on using it as a development tool for sales reps but it is certainly widely used in leadership development and increasingly in team development (though many prefer the Margerison-McCann Team Management System for company based team development).
I would say that MBTI is a good thing to have on your CV.
