I'm looking to find out some new techniques for analysing learning needs and would be grateful if you would share your top 3 techniques that work for you.
(Preferably geared towards training on new products, systems and processes.)

Structural Knowledge Auditing
Janice,
You might want to look at the Structural Knowledge Auditing approach. It provides a novel way to explore a knowledge area, isolate dependencies and categorise using parameters, such as study method.
We offer a service which we call Structural Training Needs Analysis based on SKA, but we have been wondering whether Learning Needs Analysis would be more appropriate.
You can find out more about SKA on our website at http://www.mimica.co.uk. If you have any questions please give me a call.
Best wishes
Steve
