  1. Use Rod Stuart!
I give workshops on creativity and teamwork. I would recommend a book by Roderick Stuart, Team Development Games for Trainers, published by Gower. It contains complete instructions and worksheets for many team games.

  2. Games and other resources
    Hi

You could have a search through the Resources posted on http://www.trainerbase.co.uk. All have been posted by members wishing to share their stuff with others. The majority are free to download, but you will have to join the site to do so.

  3. Play with status
Make up some status games and get them to form teams from the results (then run a little exercise with each of those teams).
Used it lots, gets people talking and opens them up to seeing each other in different ways.

  4. business minefield
the business minefield is a great exercise that I have used with groups of this size…it has learning points relating to communication, leadership style, team formation, teams within teams and process improvement (it also allows you to insert some recognition/discussion of the common problems within these areas). It can be run indoors, it doesn’t require huge amounts of expensive kit or lots of paper.
If you aren’t familiar with it give me a call and I’ll talk you through it. (07812 170391)
Lastly a little “bleat” of my own……
Please can we all stop talking about “games”; managers and directors who hear training people talking about “games” are quite justified in assuming that time spent in training is of no value to the business. Please lets stick to “exercises”

  5. Team exercise
I have one I have used for years and still can’t find a better one to show the value of participation both for team and individual effectiveness. Contact if you are interested,
