I am looking for ideas to feed into a short workshop I am running on delegation. I have only about an hour and a half to get the key messages across, so some concise models or training exercises would be welcome!

delegation
I usually present a simple seven step model and then ask them to delegate making tea for the office to another team. Usually get the other team to assess ho well they used the delegation model.
Exercises
You might want to concider Trainers’ Library. It contains many exercises and modules that are easily implemented into an existing training programme. have a look at http://www.trainerslibrary.com . Trainers’ Library is owned my Glasstap who also sell toolkits and exercises through Training Zone.

A model and a short article may help
Dear Rosie
I have used Coverdale’s Systematic Approach while coaching about delegating. The model is about groups but it “works” with individuals. It is on http://homepage.ntlworld.com/nick.heap/Systapproach.htm
I also have a short “bulletted” piece on delegation you can use or adapt, if you like. It is on http://homepage.ntlworld.com/nick.heap/Guideformanagers.htm#_Delegation
