Are there any trainers who would like to develop their experience in delivering equality and diversity programmes, and/or get involved in a long-term multi-agency public sector training programme? I am leading on both, and have capacity to help another trainer develop in these areas. If you are already experienced, contact me anyway as we may be able to work together.

I have some experience of working on Equality and Diversity programmes. My partner ran a number for the local TEC’s and I assisted. I also use Equality Legislation and discuss Diversity when running Recruitment and Selection programmes. Hi Jo,
I have worked 1st as practitioner & then as a trainer in public sector (Social care & a bit in Health)for longer than I care to remember. Equality & Diversity Training is what I am most committed to – have run Anti-discriminatory Practice courses for social care & Health staff & Equality courses for Council Staff generally. I now do lots of Refugee & Asylum seeker Awareness courses (with all kinds of groups) as part of voluntary work with my local Refugee & Asylum seeker project. I like to use a very participative approach & work on changing attitudes & increasing understanding.

Hi Jo. This looks like an interesting project – have you sourced video inserts for these sessions? I produced a couple in this area for the Revenue, and could find very little around at that time.

You have certainly attracted a strong level of interest and I am also keen to take this further. Until fairly recently I specialised in gender issues affecting managerial success and have developed various models to explore the issues for my work in workshops, presentations and published research. I am very keen to get back into this field and would like to take this further.

I would be very interested to get involved. I have been running training courses for 8 years, in public, private and voluntary sector. These have been in a variety of subjects to all levels of management. I have not delivered in equality and diversity, but this is something I have been wanting to get involved in for a long time.
