I am developing a one day workshop for high-flying staff on the subject of diversity. Whilst I have loads of info to include and discuss, I really want to make this a highly participative event that is fun for them and also helps them learn about this important topic. I am looking for some exercises or case studies I could include for some small group activites. Any suggestions welcome. Also, any thoughts on a suitable video?
Many thanks
Jennifer James

Dear Jennifer
I give below a link to an exercise that has gone down very well. http://www.nickheap.co.uk/articles.asp?ART_ID=226
It is very simple, thought provoking and great fun. This exercise is part of a one day course on cultural diversity for multicultural teams across Europe and Eastern Europe, Russia and South Africa. If you want a copy of the design please contact me.
Finally, we used a video “A world of difference” by Capita Learning and Development that is superb.
I hope this helps.
Best wishes
Nick
