Has anyone had any experiences of City & Guilds Accreditation of in-house training solutions in a contact centre environment. Information on the type of courses they have had accredited, feedback from staff, benefits (both tangible & intangible), issues, ROI or any general experiences.

  1. TESCO does this
    I saw a press cutting some time ago in which it was reported that TESCO is developing a new apprenticeship scheme for post-24 year olds in consultation with City and Guilds. Apprenticeships at TESCO provide experience of working across different areas of a store, from customer service to security to the warehouse. Candidates for accreditation through the apprenticeship scheme keep a learning log and can attend classes at a local college to top up their skills. Section and HR managers check on progress and support and coach the candidates. External verification is provided by City and Guilds.
