Looking back at my CV, I have been in a professional training role for 7 years, having been a Training Manager for the last 3 companies I have worked for. I am very happy in my current role (acting more as an internal training consultant than trainer) although I would love to move away from delivery and towards an HR Manager role in the future. In order to facilitate this, I am about to start a Postgrad in Human Resource Management and will qualify in 2 years as a CIPD graduate. Can anyone advise me how I can actually make the move into HR? I am worried that I won't be able to make the leap from being in training and don't know what level of HR position I should think about applying for.
I am interested to see what you think and would appreciate any suggestions. Many thanks.
