performance realated pay

default-16x9

A client of mine has a successful business which has rapidly grown over the last 2 years. He employs 100 people. He is doing a lot of things right, however he is struggling with performance related pay increases He feels that some people deserve the rise even though they fail to reach the performance targets on paper. Any suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks

Although monetary reward can motivate some employees to great performance it does not work for all. To be fair to all your client might like to consider looking at other ways to motivate and reward staff. Many companies fail to consider the benefits package which is a highly valuable part of the reward package. Other areas to consider are non-financial benefits such as recognition. Certain options might not cost the company a great deal and could go a long way to achieve a win win situation for both the employee and the company.

Perhaps your client may like to consider different options which will save his company quite a lot of money by providing tailored reward solutions. Email me on info
