Getting people to courses

default-16x9

I have a friend who has developed and delivered some unique courses which have met with rave reviews. He has helped me write my own courses, acted as a mentor and been really helpful, all for free. I have told him there must be professional marketers who can "sell" him and his courses for open public forums or in house on the basis of payments on results. That is,bums on seats and an agreed pro rata cut?

Do such people exist? Can anyone signpost me towards some?

Thanks

  1. you have to pay for time spent!
The only contact I have is for someone who sells in regularly for organisations – that is, she gets meetings for them. She needs a mailing list of people and she needs paying for her time and costs, with a bonus for actual meetings – or in your case, bums on seats. I have no doubt that she could sell your course, but I do doubt you’d get anyone to do it on the basis of results. Email me if you want her details for a chat. I’d recommend her highly.

  2. Good Training Consultants
We are always on the look out for good trainers to work with us, particularly those that come with a strong recommendation. The best way is to e-mail me with an overview of the areas of expertise and what your colleague can offer.

  3. Check out client magnets!
There have been similar threads before, which just goes to show how important many of us in the profession view this topic!

Let me suggest you look at the work of Bernadette Doyle over at http://www.clientmagnets.com/

I have totally overhauled my approach to marketing my offerings since getting on board with her method last week. I’ve been away this week training some instructors, so little time for responses to come back but it feels ‘right’!

She was recommended by a fellow trainingzone member to boot!

    Good luck!
