Career Options in Training

My employers have recently undergone a restructuring programme and as a result I find myself in the job market.

My present role has evolved from carrying out a role in the financial/legal sector to training in this area. As a result much of my training experience has been task-based, although I have carried out skills-based courses. This has been both one-to-one and groups of up to 12.

In addition to this my role has also included administration and supervisory duties but within a processing department rather than an HR environment.

I’ve reviewed my skills and experience and what I enjoy and decided that, whilst I have formal qualification in law, I would prefer to pursue a career as a trainer and will look toward CIPD qualification in the near future.

So far I have applied to a few specialist agencies and reviewed my experience and achievements. I would be grateful if anyone here has advice for the next step or can relate to similar experiences in their career.
