I am the Senior Training Officer for a group of local charities who provide a mixture of services at 17 different locations. We mostly provide residential care for a variety of different service users e.g. Older People, Children with Special Needs, People with Mental health difficulties, etc.
We currently employ 700 full/part/relief staff with a number (40) admin/professional staff based at our HQ.
Our present system for tracking our training needs to be updated as increased regulation means we have to provide reports to our Managers on Staff numbers who have attended/those still to attend etc. We provide up to 15 inhouse courses ourselves with the number and type of Course varying depending on the place where the staff member is employed. Staff attend a number of one-off courses which also need to be tracked.
Before considering a purchase, we need to be satisfied that it can be set up in a way that will enable us to extract the information we require in the format we require (e.g. by location). Can you supply us with a list of LMS package suppliers who you think could fit the bill in our circumstances?

There are a number of LMS providers in the marketplace that can help you. However, many will have an annual user cost which may cause problems – as well as inflexibility in tracking people by group (location) and providing multi-level management data.
I am currently working on a TOPSS induction programme for a client and we have used SKILLS365. This programme includes all the elements you have asked for, for a fixed, unlimited user price – the reporting mechanism is particularly strong.
