I am working through a third-party training consultancy for a major drinks company. We are designing a range of management skills modules for middle and senior managers.

As part of the project, the client has asked us to source a shortlist of trainers who could deliver Leadership and Selling Skills to the target audience (number around 180 for Leadership, lot less for Selling skills). However, they are looking for some really special trainers........

The trainers need to have:

1. Had substantial experience in the field, working at senior management level in an organisation. This experience needs to have been in blue chip, FMCG organisations - ideally with experience of the drinks industry. For the selling module, experience of selling to large accounts e.g. major supermarkets would be ideal.

2. Achieved considerable success in their line management roles. Ideally, reknowned as a credible name within their industry.

3. Exceptional training and motivational skills in front of 'no holds barred, demanding' middle and senior managers, such as Senior National Account Managers, Brand Sales Directors, Finance Controllers etc.

4. The successful trainers would need to be comfortable in using pre-designed, tailored course material but there would be flexibility in some of the content e.g. for selling, the trainer could use their own model for selling steps, as long as it was agreed with the client.

I need to complete shortlist by Tuesday 11th, so not much time.

Any fees would be negotiated directly with the client - the third party consultancy I am working for would not expect a cut!
