Technical training

I am currently struggling to come up with a clear and concise definition for technical training. I need to be able to distiguish technical training for our operations teams, for which I am responsible, from the training and development of other business areas. The training will include systems and process training but will also encompass aspects of attitude and behaviour training. This last aspect of the training is where the confusion lies.

Has anyone found a good way of differentiating technical training within their own organisations?
