Pictures of women

default-16x9

Hi

We currently run Springboard for Women here and are looking to add an exercise where we show photos of all types of women - different ages, ethnic backgrounds, clothes etc etc.
Does anyone know where I can get photos that I can use? I have tried the internet, but most have to be purchased, and being the NHS we are of limited funds!
If anyone can help with ideas or has photo's they can email me, then I would be very grateful.

Thanks,

Lisa

  1. Local University
    Hi there,

try your local University, Graphics or Photo department, they may be able to supply old photos, or even new ones if mentioned in the workshop etc.

Here’s a few suggestions for finding diverse images of girls/women that are free to use –

Check out the small selection of photos on my website http://www.wisecaterpillar.com/divimages.html . There is also a small selection of graphics on http://www.wisecaterpillar.com/divclips.html

Also, consider signing up to http://www.sxc.hu/ some of their photos are free to use.

http://www.bigfoto.com/ have lots of pics that only require a link/credit to be displayed for free use (search under themes -> people)

This page also has a collection of photos of women sourced from public archives http://gimp-savvy.com/cgi-bin/masterlinks.cgi?woman

    Hope that helps.
