Does anyone have any knowledge of a psychological questionnaire called 'Strength Deployment Inventory'?
Info I need is, what's involved, do you have to be qualified to administer this tool, if so where are the courses held, how long are they, prices involved?
Can anyone help?

SDI goes down really well with our staff
Hi Lisa
SDI is a tool that helps people identify their own strengths, motivations and values. It’s similar to Insights (if you have done that) but simpler, and goes down really well with staff in my organisation as they find it very accessible, memorable and easy to learn from.
The weblink you have been given already is the correct one, and my training took 2 days – it’s not cheap though so be prepared!

Insights like SDI…???
Hi Helen
Your comment about the SDI as “It’s similar to Insights ” – only in that Insights has used the colours as labels…
Insights is based on MBTI/ Jung and SDI is FIRO-B – both very different positions and methodologies
SDI is a powerful tool which has high face validity (people like it) and it is lower cost than Insights to run.
One way to reduce the cost of the training is not to attend a public course but get a few people together and have a ‘in-house’ course run for you.
Highly Recommended as a tool.
