UK stance on IACET standards, is there a UK equivalent?

IACET continues education units are internationally recognized, but this article explores whether UK organizations formally recognize these credentials and examines potential UK equivalents for professional development standards.

The IACET website offers a list of those who potentially accept CEUs (mainly North American) but there is an interesting non-committal statement on the page:
