I am sure you have been here.....namely:-
A posh training room that prohibits the use of blu tac on the wall!!!! - doh!
Instead you have tight wall rails that invariably clog up or let the damn thing fall to the floor ,etc etc
A very posh training room that we were in last week, have come up with a simple WIN-WIN. I imagine others have a variation on it.
A retractable washing line bought from INDEX or ARGOS - and a packet of pegs from Homebase or metal clips from Staples. You just hang out the work from the delegates/trainees on the Sigfried line! And with coloured pegs you can theme the output from delegates or use the colours to distinguish one cohort or workshop group from another, etc etc
The next person to find an alternative or WIN-WIN for those non portable fluipcharts - ie built into a wall or exhibition stand - deserves a Christmas bonus!
Regards
Dominic

holding up flipcharts
try this
paint the walls a dark matt colour (in panels for variety) and use liquid chalk instead of flipchart pens….just write on the walls. Graffiti and training/presentations!
(A long time ago I used to do this at field briefings on the sides of armoured vehicles, as Oddball says in Kelly’s Heroes, "We didn’t do much damage but we sure painted pretty pictures!"
