Sharing Ideas Virtually

default-16x9

All,

Inspired by Steve's earlier question about TZ members meeting up in London I write to suggest that TZ members could network by attending Webinar sessions on key L&D topics. I already run webinars so I am happy to set them up on a regular basis and 'host' the events. However, I look to TZ members who are 'experts' in a specific area to lead the discussion.

Please respond to this mail if :

1. You want to be on the mailing list of people who wish to attend such L&D based Webinar sessions.

2. You wish to take the lead on a specific topic.

Typically the webinar session should be about 60 minutes long and be interactive. I can provide 'best practice' briefing notes for 'leads' to help them prepare for their webinar session.

Suggested webinar topic areas include but are not limited to:

- Train the trainer

- eLearning

- Video learning

- Coaching - executive, life, business etc

- Specific 'hot topic' training topics such as Performance management, e360 surveys, Communication skills etc

- Innovative training examples

Thanks in advance for your answers.

  1. Virtual

    Good idea Ranjit

Not for me though, sorry. I don’t like anything virtual but at least we now have 2 options of sharing ideas!

In my opinion there is no better way to improve your Training skills so I do hope people get involved…virtual or otherwise.

Also worth pointing out that the specialism is irrelevant, Training methods cross many boundaries and good practice is good practice.

The CIPD website has some good ideas regarding Action Learning Sets if anyone wants to see how this works.

    Best regards

    Steve
