I’m looking for a decent reasonably priced package that will allow me to package a powerpoint presentation as SCORM. There seems to be a multitude of products out there that will allow you to do this and i’m a little cautions of getting my fingers burnt or ending up paying over the odds for something with lots of whistles and bells that i don’t need.
Essentially all i need to be able to do is package a powerpoint presentation which has animations and embeded macros as SCORM for export to my LMS. It would be nice to have additional flash features but it is of secondary importance.
Does anyone out there use a tool they can recommend or has anyone had a bad experience they can share?

One of the problems with SCORM is that no two providers have implemented SCORM in exactly the same way, so just going for "any converter" may not work with your system
The only safe way is to talk to your LMS provider as they will have recommended tools that work correctly for your application – many offer ppt "wrapper" programs for free – have you asked?
