I am posting this on behalf of an ex-colleague. She works for a Financial Services company that outsources almost everything that they do. They have grown quickly and now have new staff that are not experienced in managing relationships with the outsourcing companies.
Does anyone know if such a course exists to help them better manage such relationships?
Thanks
Chris

Outsourcing Professional Qualifications
YES – check
http://www.noa.co.uk/index.php/site/qualifications/
the first professional qualifications in outsourcing for outsource providers and end users – qualifications are accredited by Middlesex University – open to individuals and in-house – HML the major outsourcer of financial services and Co-operative Financial Services use the Certificate and Diploma to support talent development.
My interest is as Director of Studies but I have also recently completed an MA with research into the nature of development in an emerging professional field i.e. outsourcing and happy to share the research paper with those who are interested.

Managing Relationships with Outsourcers
Hi Chris, if it is of any help to your ex-colleague, please pass her my email address – chris@liles.co.uk I help people improve their relationships in business, with a particular specialism in helping them adapt to ‘difficult’ personalities. I have developed a simple model which quickly and easily assists relationship-building with staff, colleagues, bosses, customers, prospects … or suppliers!
My background is in the Financial Services sector, so I am likely to understand the culture within which the relationships are being managed. I warmly welcome exploring ways in which I can help your friend. If she sends me an email with her phone number, I will give her a ring for an informal chat.
