Hi
I'm writing a session to win over SMEs to the idea of committing to a Corprate Social Responsibility programme of both environmental and local community action. They are franchisees and this is mandated by the franchisor so there is likely to be a degree of "oppositional reflex".
I'm looking for some anecdotal case studies (I'm looking for short, 50 worders rather than 500 pagers!) that show/prove that it isn't JUST about the feelgood factor or ticking a box but that real commercial value is achievable......I have a couple......but I need more.....can anyone help either directly by posting a breif explanation or indirectly by signposting to a report or article or even vaguely by putting me in touch with their CSR team, if they have one.
Thanks
Rus

Look no further than Business in the Community
I work for a Housing Association with a strong CSR / volunteering ethos. We work as part of the ‘Cares’ Network within Business in the Community. This service offers volunteering opportunities and is effectively a brokerage.
Have a look at their website http://www.bitc.org.uk for more information and case studies galore!
thanks everyone!
