   Hi Steve,

   We’ve been carrying string and pegs around for years for venues where they don’t let you stick blutack on the walls.

   The nice things is you can put the string and pegs where you like – it doesn’t even need to be gainst the walls -but you do have to be careful what you you hang down if you are going diagonally across the room so as not to get in people’s way.

   Another colleague buys helium balloons and pegs key messages to them so they float around all day.

   I like the string and pegs idea but can’t think where I could tie the string? I have about 30 posters I use for this course. Have also passed on the Howto to Building Services who may think I am having a little joke!

   Amazing that trainers are rarely, if ever, consulted when rooms designed for training are being kitted out!

   Last time I used this particular room I "wallpapered" it with blank A1 flipchart paper…perfect! Until the next morning it was all in a heap on the floor causing quite a bit of stress to get it sorted before delegates arrived.

   Will investigate tying ponts for string!
