Mouse Mats with Top Training Tips offic e 2010 rollout

default-16x9

Hello, i know mouse mats are old hat, but the company I work for want to use these as part of an office 2010 launch.  Has anyone done this with top tips for MS office 2010 on them? or any creative ideas.  All suggestions and advice very gratefully received ( except the dont use a mousemat!) lol.

  1. MS Office 2010 rollout

    Hi Sherbert72

I don’t think mouse mats are old hat – I think they are still a good idea!  My opinion is if it works, don’t knock it, even if it is old (like me lol).  Anyway, the mats could show common commands (like Print Preview) as either shortcut keys or how to add the icon to the Quick access toolbar.  Also, the mats could show the "new bits" of MS 2010 in comparison to 2007 (or even 2003).  Basically, anything which shows the difference between 2010 and the version your company is using now.

    Hope this helps

  2. Mouse Mats

Maybe the mouse mats could contain (friendly) links to where people can get performance support when they need it, or contact details for the IT help department?

You could also include QR codes on them, and those with enabled devices could scan and access help content/video tutorials etc?

Just a couple of ideas 🙂

  3. Themed Mouse Mats

    Hi Sherbert,

I create "doodle mats" in PowerPoint, easy to create  in landscape using a custom size and a great takeaway to aid memory and retention. Can be laminated if necessary, not sure if that rough laminate is mouse friendly though.

The last post is nothing to do with the discussion – can the Editor remove it?

    Thanks

  5. spam

Hi Tina, we’re fighting a lot of spam on site at the moment and this must have slipped through the net.

    Apologies, duly removed.
