Technologies to author with
At our place of work we have started using a number of different elements in order to deliver our courses both online, and remotely.
1.) WordPress as a platform for our eLearning site. Free, simple to learn and use, they have a famous ‘5 minute installation’ and it has 19,000+ plugins to use in order to add functionality, and the themes mean you can change the way it looks in under a minute
2.) Camtasia – perfect for screen casting and editing videos of yourself delivering a key point
3.) Adobe Connect – perfect for virtual classrooms and long distanct meetings
