Hi All,
I'm developing training content for highly technical training courses, my current projects will be delivered in a self-paced learning delivery. As part of the porject deliverable I am creating a workbook (there is no online/elearning content). I have developed one in this fashion already, and now working through the second I'm beginning to fall short of inspiration in creating a variety of activities/exercises that will add valuable learning experiences without being too repetitive.
Would welcome and be very grateful for some ideas.
Thanks in advance :)

A couple of ideas
Hi BH
I've produced a number of interactive workbooks.
A few things you could consider are…
Active Reading…ie a few pages of technical information followed or preceeded by some questions.
Fill in the Blanks…remove some words or symbols and the reader has to decide what goes into the space.
Case Studies…I have a template you could use for this.
Unfortunately the books are huge in terms of file size but I could possibly send some screen shots if that would help?
Best of luck
Steve
Make it fun!
Include crosswords and word searches, as well as case studies and quizzes. You can also do exercises where processes have to be put into order, or 'pairs' of things can be matched via line. 'Odd one out' exercises can also work well depending on the topic.
Hope this is helpful
