I am looking for a couple of in the classroom training activities that can be used for small groups of 3 - 4.
I would like to use an activity that highlights the reasons projects may fail, it needs to be interactive in some way and groups will need to present their findings at the end.
The second activity is about the differences between tradional and non-traditional/complex projects. The groups need to made aware that there are other more complex considerations that they will need to deal with when the project becomes complex.
Any ideas?

Use problem solving exercises
Hi
From your description I think you need problem solving exercises that encourage creative thinking as well as decision making.
Here are a number of exercises that you may like to consider:
Dialectic inquiry training exercise
Problem solving exercise with multiple view points
Also consider a series of exercises on decision making and problem solving.
Hope these help and good luck.
