Training rooms and especially the cupboards/nooks, crannies etc are often littered with half used flipchart pads, reams of paper, old name plates that could be recycled, lumps of blu tac, boxes and boxes of pens and, as I saw recently shelves of manuals gathering dust. All just withering on the vine. I use these "extras" whenever I can maintaining a balance between being environmentally friendly and a professional appearance. Sometimes the client will say "oh take what you want William".
But I am still shocked about the amount of stuff just left lying about -and it does not seem to be a feature of one sector over another.
Do you try to wage a war on waste? What have you picked up?

a and indepentent consultant I have to be a bit careful here…..one man's recycling is another man's theft!
Having said that I did get given a pilot's case that had been cluttering up a atraining room and on an occasiona many years ago Iwas also invited to take a flipchart easel!
