Elizabeth Hasselbeck’s comments on Erin Andrews about the wardrobe on Dancing with the Stars haven’t endeared the “View” co-host to numerous. Hasselbeck made some comments to the effect that Andrews' stalker wouldn't have needed to invade her privacy if he could have just waited to see her outfits. To say these remarks were insensitive would be understatement. It will surely take a lot more than short term loans to pay for the truckload of mouthwash needed to cure this foot within the mouth taste.
Elizabeth Hasselbeck's Erin Andrews remarks
On Tuesday, May 4, Elizabeth Hasselbeck opined on The View that Erin Andrews' “Dancing with the Stars” outfights were too revealing. Instead of just saying something like “her outfits are a little skimpy” and then moving on, she decided that she's the fashion police and that it's acceptable to joke about the Erin Andrews peephole video incident and while every person viewed in horror:
"as inexcusable as it was for that guy to go in and try to peep on her in her hotel room ... I mean, in some way if I'm him, I'm like 'Man! I could've just waited 12 weeks and seen this,' a little bit less, without the prison time!"
(From the Huffington Post). It would appear that no matter how rich a person gets, you just can't buy common sense, or class for that matter. Ironically, individuals within the rich class so often forget to display it.
Erin Andrews doesn’t seem amused
After she appeared on Dancing with the Stars, Erin Andrews, in response to Elizabeth Hasselbeck, declared her remarks a “slap in the face to victims of stalking and sexual predators”.
Hasselbeck apologizes
Wednesday, May 5, Elizabeth Hasselbeck apologized for the remarks. She even teared up during her apology. She does seem legitimately sorry, but some are likely to cynically assume that she's only sorry because she got in trouble, not because she really did something wrong.
Where should the line get drawn?
The fallout of Elizabeth Hasselbeck's Erin Andrews remarks has likely run its course, and in a week or so, we'll all have forgotten it. In the grand scheme of things, she put her foot in her mouth and has realized it. Nobody should be afraid to say things that have to be said, but some things go just a little bit too far.

We love Erin Andrews
"It would appear that no matter how rich a person gets, you just can’t buy common sense, or class for that matter." Exactly. This has always been the case. We always hear stories like this. Where the rich ones forgot to wear their common sense suit. A magnetic sponsoring friend is such a fan of Erin Andrews. And she can’t handle other people talking trash to her. Good thing she publicly apologized.
