It seems rather far-fetched that someone's dislike for PowerPoint presentations would lead them to create a political party in order to ban the aforementioned software. Well, it looks like this is the case.
The Anti-PowerPoint Party has been set up by Matthias Pöhm, who trains people in public speaking. His dislike for PowerPoint has prompted him to write the book The PowerPoint Fallacy – still presenting or already fascinating? and now he his heading up a movement in Switzerland to outlaw its use once and for all.
Interestingly, Pöhm's preferred presentation tool is the flip chart . . .
