Changing the view on the way you print.

Due to the nature of my business, over the past few months I have spoken to many training providers in regards to the training materials that they produce for their courses. I have found the responses a varied one.

The one thing that I have found, even if they do E-learning, is that printing never goes away. It seems to be a necessary evil for all trainers. In my previous entry I mentioned a new service that we have introduced fully to the UK to help reduce the print process, but how can it actually help?

For those who print, we have two main processes. We have those that use print vendors and those that print "inhouse", each seem to have their drawbacks that some are quite reluctant to initially admit.

What I have seen, is that those that use the average print vendor have issues with quality, turnaround and distribution, but the main factor is the lack of control. All of these factors have caused issues and embarrassment at some point as the integrity of what you doing can be lost all down to your materials.

We then have those that print inhouse. Why? to reduce costs of course! but does it? Paper, ink, printer, binding all cost money, but the most cost reducing factor is TIME. What could you be doing in that few hours you are creating the documents for your next training session?

All these issues are slowly starting to be realised or admitted to me, and I am changing the views of trainers in regards to print and the ease of management of this process.

Believe it or not, we can genuinely help!
