Recently, I have been noticing more and more the pure and innocent nature of questions posed by young children.

Coming from a place of innocence, they can often knock you off balance by getting directly to the point!

So it occurs to me that as adults we may have lost this trait. When faced with things we don't know or don't believe in, how many of us ask the kind of question a five year old would ask?

There is of course a well known tale about the emperor's fine new clothes, where it took a child to reveal the truth behind the rogue tailors' scam.

Perhaps you could adopt this way of being in your organisation, challenging those things that are being left unchallenged.

After all, even the king had a joker for this very reason!
