Recently I discovered an app that I personally find very useful. I have a number of websites that I like to read from such as Hbr blogs, Lifehack, Pando Daily, Fastcompany, Entrepreneur, Inc, Killer Start ups, Mashable, Techcrunch, CLO magazine, Training Magazine, Articultae's Rapid E-Learning blog and Learning Solutions magazine (I listed them in case you are interested in checking them out). Often times I want to read the articles later and I don't want to bookmark the sites. While reading an article from one of the sites I mentioned, I think it was Pando Daily, I found out about an Android/Iphone app called Pocket which allows you to save articles for later. The great thing about the app is that, it saves articles from the web in such a way that even when you have no internet access you can still have access to them. I introduced the app to one of my work colleagues today and told her that it's my app of the year. She readily installed it on her Ipad and started putting articles in her "Pocket". Are you already using Pocket or do you know of a similar app? Please tell us about it.
And about the quotes......
I was browsing through lifehack (one of the sites I listed) when I saw a couple of inspiring quotes I'd thought I share. Here they are:
Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
Do what you feel to be right in your heart for you will be criticized anyway.
We must not allow other people's limited perceptions to define us.
Don't look for society to give you permission to be yourself.
Remember to always be yourself unless you suck.
There came a time when the risk to remain tight in the bud became more painful than the risk to blossom.
Be there for others but never leave yourself behind.
Be yourself, everyone else is taken.
Take a deep breath, it's just a bad day, not a bad life.
The only person you should try to be better than is the one you were yesterday.
Hope you find them inspiring.
