default-16x9

Welcome to our latest round-up from across the TrainingZone community - these are the stories that not only proved popular across our site, but also content from other websites that we’ve found useful, interesting or downright controversial!
We’ve highlighted some of our favourite responses, let us know if you have anything to add in the comments below.
Engagement tips
One article we shared recently was this list of employee engagement tips from HRZone on Medium - in particular the need for there to be a sustained commitment to engagement rather than a ‘quick-fix’ approach. Are there any other tips you’d add to the list?
CLO: Is it a ‘real’ job?
An article that really caught our eye this week was a BBC article on people wasting time in the office, namely this line:
‘entire occupations might be considered phoney - from life coaches to "atmosphere co-ordinators" (people hired to create a party vibe in bars) to "chief learning officers" in the corporate world’
What do you think the perceptions are of Chief Learning Officers and coaches? What can be done to make the roles better understood in the workplace?
Understanding Performance Suppport
Our videos have been popular this month, in particular this interview with Adam Harwood, L+D Partner at ASOS, who we spoke to about Performance Support, namely what it is and how we can use it.
Many of our readers got in touch to say how helpful they found the content - you can see one comment below. Check out more of our interviews & tutorials on the TrainingZone YouTube channel.
CIPD report: What is the impact of L&D?
There were also some interesting responses to our article on a recent CIPD report about measuring the impact of L&D in business outcomes - what have been your experiences? Here's some feedback we got from our followers on Twitter:
