I am trying to find information on the use of ALT that can be used in training adults to use computers. If anybody knows of any books, or other research that I can find I would love to hear from them.

Accelerated Learning
Dear Jackie
How desperate it all must be! Story read 42 times and no response! The “classic” AL book is “Quantum Learning,” by Bobbi DePorter with Mike Hernacki. You can probably find it through amazon.com or angloamerican.co.uk (actually I’m guessing about anglo-american’s website address – I can’t find their bumph in my detritus! You may have to try variations of it)
I’m certain that the book, while not written specifically for computer use (in fact, modelled on Super Camp, and contains LOADS of NLP-type stuff), I’m sure it can be adapted. Please advise if you would like to know more about NLP, or if you cannot find the book.

Hi Jackie
You may have more luck if you try the SEAL.org.uk site, (Society for Effective Affective Learning)many of it’s members worldwide have regular local group meetings and Accelerated Learning is an important part of it’s mission towards helping people learn, with a variety of specialists and their puclications available on the subject.
Good luck

Please feel free to call me on 01784 44 04 04 if you would like to talk to someone about AL + NLP.
Absolutely no obligation. I have got so much out of my experience with AL and NLP that i feel I have an obligation to pass it onto others.
Suggest you take other tips re SEAL
Hear from you when i do

I highly recommend the BBC book called The Mind Mapping book. by Tony Buzan. Couple this with the techniques he calls Super Study and you are on a winner.
Contact the Buzan Centre in bournmouth for more details
