Accreditation for training materials

default-16x9

Hi there

I'm looking to get some Competency Based Interviewing training materials accredited and son't know the first thing about how to go about this. I've tried to do an internet search and got lots of imformation about be being accredited, as oppose to the actual materials.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction, in terms of who I can contact and what I need to be looking for, to get the ball rolling?

Thanks

Sam.

  1. Just to clarify…..

Are you looking to find some materials and then run a course yourself?  If the answer is yes that's probably why you have struggled because it tends to be the course or programme that is accredited and that includes the tutor/facilitator, the delivery method as well as the materials.

The purpose of accreditation is usually that it has some certification at the end of it so the whole way the course is run including assessment etc is all part of the accreditation process.  I am happy to be told otherwise but I'm not aware of training material that's accredited in and of itself.

If you want material from an accredited source, you might want to contact the CIPD, they might have material that they have produced and as they are 'chartered' it possibly covers what you are looking for.

IAlternatively, f you are looking to find someone who can deliver an accredited course the CIPD may be able to help you source someone too.  In addition you might want to contact the CMI who would also be accredited.

    Hope that helps.
