Action Learning and Lifelong Learning
This month I want to explore the connection between action learning and lifelong learning. In doing so there are three questions I will set out to answer. First, what is lifelong learning, why is it important and what part can action learning play in taking it forward?
Essentially lifelong learning is a relatively straightforward concept. It is the idea of creating a culture in which everyone accepts the idea of continuous learning and development as the norm.
Lifelong learning is something which applies right across the board, it is not something which is restricted to the workplace. That said, it may well find its greatest expression in the workplace because it is the workplace where the greatest impact is likely to be seen.....
