Amazon enters new territory in partnering with Carphone Warehouse to offer mobile phones online. arm and Carphone Warehouse have joined forces to sell mobile phones online.

The move is part of Amazon's strategy to enter the electronics market - a sector that has done particularly well online over the last quarter.

Initially Amazon will sell pay-as-you go phones from its site but is expected to supply contract phone in due course.
