The computer company Apple, have cut their prices of servers by around £700 and their top of the range G4 Power Macs by around £650 in a bid to clear some of their existing products and make way for new releases expected to be seen at the MacWorld show to be held in San Francisco.
The company last year also experienced lower than expected profit warnings and blamed it on the price cuts and low PC sales that were experienced and October and November last year.
Following the annoucement of these price cuts, retailers have reported that the have already seen an increase in the volume of Apple sales by around 30%.
