APTA Motivational Styles

default-16x9

I have been asked by a colleague what are ‘APTA motivational styles’, I haven’t a clue.

I’ve done a thorough search of the internet and only came across the American Physical Therapy Association, which I don’t think it refers to.

Does anyone else what this reference is to?

This is a new one on me. I wonder if they meant ‘Apter’ not ‘Apta’. Michael Apter wrote (or edited) an interesting book on ‘Motivational Styles in Everyday Life: a guide to reversal theory’ and has also written articles with Steven Carter on how this applies to things like mentoring.
The Apter Motivational Styles Profile (AMSP) could also be what they are refering to.

    Hope this helps!
