Association for Neuro-Linguistic Programming

default-16x9

ANLP was formed in 1985 as a non-profit making organisation to serve as a focal point for all those interested in NLP. People have joined ANLP for many reasons; some to acquire a deep understanding of the field; others wishing to enhance their success and performance in their own specific field.
The ANLP is dedicated to fostering co-operation and interchange amongst its members and links with the wider NLP community worldwide. It was incorporated in 1989 and registered as an educational charity.

One of the main aims of the ANLP is to advance the knowledge and understanding of NLP.

This is a significant time for growth for the ANLP and NLP in the UK. The ANLP currently lists over 50 training organisations. By the end of the year 2000 we estimate that around 150,000 people will have had some sort of training in NLP. Recent research by BT tells us that 6 out of 10 people in the UK want to be better at communicating with family and friends.

A growing number of individuals and organisations are seeking advice from those trained in NLP, and NLP is receiving increasing coverage in the media.

The ANLP seeks to establish a network of contacts, act as an information source and to be a vital link with the wider NLP community.

ANLP aims to promote education related to NLP by:
- Raising standards and offering opportunities for continual professional development to members
- Providing forums for exchange of views, experience and expertise for NLP Practitioners in various fields
- Communicating new developments in NLP
- Increasing public awareness of NLP and its applications
- Providing information on training programmes, publications and NLP services
- Promoting the ethical use of NLP
