Federico Espinosa is a Lead Education Expert at Busuu, overseeing the content and future direction of the English and German course content as well as advising on the overall learning experience of the platform. 

Before joining Busuu, he was the Education Lead for Mrs Wordsmith, an illustrated vocabulary product, and managed implementation partnerships for Knewton, helping build AI-driven adaptive learning e-learning products for major educational companies in the EMEA region. 

He holds an MA with Distinction from the University of Birmingham in Applied Linguistics, specialising in cognitive linguistics applied to autonomous online language learning, and has previously taught English in the USA, Guinea, Liberia, France, Czech Republic, and Lebanon.
