I began my teaching career by working in various TEFL providers in the Portsmouth area, while completing my degree in English Literature. I taught A Level and GCSE English at several schools across Hampshire. I also worked as a tutor with a Kip McGrath tutoring agency.

My career has now evolved towards professional learning and development, reflecting the nature of my teaching qualification in post-compulsory education. I now work as the Learning & Development Manager at the University of Southampton Students' Union. I am responsible for designing, delivering or sourcing training materials for both staff and students.

I am interested in developing learning programmes that reflect my organisation's strategic objectives. I am also interested in evaluation methods and demonstrating the impact of learning and development opportunities.
