Freelance Project Management Trainer and Consultant with more than 15 years experience managing large complex projects within the private and public sector. PRINCE 2 Practitioner and CIPD qualified (Certificate of Training Practice) with a wide range of clients in both the public and private sectors including a National Post Distribution and Logistics Company, Telecoms Company, Qualification and Education Provider, two local Universities and Local Academies. Specialise in working with clients to develop practical project management solutions to improve project success.
Prior to going freelance in April 2008 combined managing projects in the UK and overseas with acting as lead trainer and coach in project management for CfBT Education Trust. Designed and delivered in-house training programmes for CfBT staff in the UK and overseas as well as to teachers and school leaders as part of the contracts delivered on behalf of the UK Government.
I started my career working with the Department for Education and Employment, initially as a job search skills trainer at a local job-centre before moving to London to manage the implementation of projects and programmes linked to National Education and Employment policy (e.g. New Deal for Lone Parents, 14-19 Qualifications Framework, Review of Awarding Bodies).
