IT training company Azlan has appointed Nigel Pearson as director of its UK training operation and set out plans to expand its business significantly over the coming year.

Mr Pearson has adopted full responsibility for the training business having spent the last two-and -a-half years in a European role as service offer director in Azlan's technical consulting services business.

Previously he worked as associate director for Cap Gemini.

Azlan’s European Professional Services Director, Nick Dean, who had been overseeing the UK training business for the nine months, will now focus on the wider remit of developing the company’s pan-European training and services business.

Azlan, which is the largest authorised training partner for both Cisco and Microsoft in Europe, has also strengthened its management team with a view to expanding its training business.

Nick Dean said: “We believe that the opportunities in training over the next 12 months are very bright indeed and that with this competent and professional management team in place, we will be able to grow and develop our business significantly over the next 12 months.”
